A chartered ship of high wisdom means a sermon hall which is full of truth. A chartered ship needs port for continuous voyage to reach Buddha's Pure Land. Every temples established a pond, Yeonji, for a chartered ship to stand off and on. So Manbul temple constructed Yongcheon pond. The meaning of Yongcheon pond indicates not only Buddha's teaching but also pouring sweet water for relieving thirst. The place is for washing misdeed off and accumulating virtuous deed. Two Amitabha Buddhas enshrined in Yoncheon pond is guiding buddhists to Buddha's Pure Land with merciful smile.
